The Challenge

Red Bull asked Pop’N to create a buzzworthy, social media promotional trailer and announce Red Bull Symphonic’s first US performance, taking place in the Atlanta Symphony Hall.

The Red Bull Symphonic always pairs classic and contemporary musicians to create an epic mash-up. Red Bull wanted a stateside remix that incorporated the best of Hip-Hop and Classical. They selected the Hip-Hop boss, Rick Ross, and the Black-led, powerhouse Orchestra Noir. 

To introduce this innovative pairing, we wanted to create a grand reveal of this megastar that built anticipation for the upcoming performances and drove tickets sales.

 

The Approach

Pop’N directed and managed all phases of the production, including  scripting, creative direction and capturing the talent’s performance at the Atlanta Symphony Hall.

Pop’N also post-produced the final two :30 spots and mixed a custom track to embody the concept’s essence – a mash-up of Classical + Hip-Hop.

 

The Results

The trailer launched as a reel on both Red Bull USA Rick Ross and Orchestra Noir’s Instagram pages August 25th, 2022. The collaboration reel between Red Bull USA and Rick Ross received over 314K views and 6.9K likes and Orchestra Noir’s reel delivered 18.7K views and 1.3K likes. Together, they drove more than 332K video views in the first day and the show sold out in the first week!
