The Opportunity

For the 2025 Gold Cup, Toyota wanted to make a bold statement as a sponsor—rooted in “futbolismo”—and show up as a true cultural partner who understands the grit, pride, and rhythm of the game.
Toyota tapped Pop’N to bring this vision to life by helping position Toyota as a fútbol-first brand that feels authentic, emotional, and unapologetically connected to the Latino community across five key Fan Zone activations: Inglewood, Arlington, Glendale, Santa Clara, and Houston.
The Approach
To make Toyota stand out in a sea of sponsors, we created an immersive, culturally grounded activation that fused fútbol with lifestyle.
Through the lens of “futbolismo” and our tentpole concept, Toyota Fútbol Club, we achieved measurable impact—boosting brand awareness, driving fan participation, and strengthening Toyota’s reach using the following strategies:

- Tundra & 4Runner Spotlight: Two vehicles anchored the experience with power and presence.
- Toyota FC Experience: A gritty, modern fútbol space brought to life through four, custom brand moments perfect for all ages
- Bilingual & Bicultural Touchpoints: Every element—from music to signage—was tailored for Toyota’s diverse audience.
The Results
Toyota Fútbol Club showed out across five Gold Cup Fan Zone stops—drawing in thousands of fans and distributing thousands of branded premiums.
Each activation was designed to drive brand interaction and opt-ins. Three out of five stops converted over 25% of attendees into leads, with the top-performing market hitting a 48% conversion rate—measured by comparing lead submissions to total guest attendance.
Overall the campaign generated strong brand engagement and positioned Toyota as a cultural force within the fútbol space.
